My Purse

Last night we had a Ladies Night, which means that we were taught basic self-defense with purses and keys. If a man grabs me on my arm, I can smack him in the face with my purse and stop down on his foot. However, I never carry a purse except when I go to church. Probably, I would break something if I hit a man with full force with my purse because it contains my scriptures. I always carry my backpack around for school so this lesson didn’t really apply to me.

I would have written more; however, I finally found out how to download music from Magnatune.com. Now, it’s time to go to bed.

I had to smile when I read your last sentence: "I would have written more; however, I finally found out how to download music from Magnatune.com"

Ha ha ha.. oh no!.. When my daughter figured out how to download music, my internet disappeared. She spent every moment having fun with that.

I wonder how you could use your backpack for self defense.. I bet you that it's pretty heavy with books too.

I still remember your picture of you doing an elbow strike - shattering wood. I'd forget the purse and use the elbow...

Thank you so much for commenting Supergroup. I was getting lonely.

I was wondering that too Supergroup. I don't think I can use it because to use something for self-defense, it needs to readily available. Probably, my backpack would inhibit me because it's heavy.

Probably the elbow strike would be for effective than the purse. Also, the palm heel strike would be more effective than regular punch because I hit much harder with my heel for some reason.
